Ear Force x41 Details

Dimensions: 50mm diameter speakers with neodymium magnets
Weight: 9.5 Oz (270g)
XBox Connection: Digital Wireless RF carrier reception (2.404-2.476GHz)
Headset Battery: Dual AAA batteries
Battery Duration: up to 25 hours

What’s Awesome:

  • The headset’s sounds is impeccable with the 7.1 surround sound
  • Great wireless range, so it’s ideal for playing on large screen TV’s (like my Sharp Aquos 80)
  • The mic boom is removable so you can use it for playing tunes or anything non-mic related

What Sucks:

  • If you have another electronic device that uses the 2.4Ghz frequency, this may cause some interference.
  • Wish the Dual AAA batteries were a rechargeable pack

The Bottom Line: Although this unit is no longer in production, if you’re looking for a headset that thumps out some sick 7.1 surround sound and don’t want to spend a ton of money – then the Turtle Beach PX22 is your answer. Read more customer reviews on the PX22
